Its production process is subject to strict quality control and production procedure requirements to ensure high product quality. The following is the extrusion production process of aluminum profiles:

Raw material selection
High-purity aluminum alloy billets are selected, heated and pre-cut to reach the appropriate extrusion temperature.

Extrusion mold design
Aluminum profile is the final product of aluminum rods after heating and extrusion through a die. The die is a tool with high-precision specifications designed according to the needs, which is used to extrude profile products of the required specifications and cross-sections; the design and maintenance of the die should pay attention to the following points:

1. The structure involved in the die must first meet the production requirements and the common sense of physics and mechanics to ensure that the products produced can achieve the performance used.
2. The material and hardness of the mold should be appropriate to avoid deformation, scratches and other defects during the extrusion process, which will affect the quality of the final product.
3. The mold should be cleaned and inspected regularly, and any problems should be repaired in time to avoid scratches, burrs and other defects during the extrusion process, which will seriously affect the quality of industrial aluminum profiles.

The process of aluminum profile extrusion is very important, and controlling temperature, extrusion speed, and quenching is challenging, so these factors should be considered during aluminum extrusion.

1. Temperature control: Extrusion temperature is the most basic and critical process factor in extrusion production. It has a great impact on product quality, production efficiency, mold life, energy consumption, etc.
2. Extrusion speed: The extrusion speed must be carefully controlled during the extrusion process. It has an important influence on the deformation thermal effect, deformation uniformity, recrystallization and solid solution process, product mechanical properties, and product surface quality.
3. On-machine quenching: 6063-T5 quenching is to retain the Mg2Si dissolved in the matrix metal at high temperature after exiting the die hole and being rapidly cooled to room temperature. The cooling rate is often proportional to the strengthening phase content. The minimum cooling rate that can be strengthened for 6063 alloy is 38℃/min, so it is suitable for air-cooled quenching. Changing the speed of the blower and fan can change the cooling intensity so that the temperature of the product before tension straightening can be reduced to below 60℃.

After extrusion molding, aluminum profiles will deviate slightly. To ensure accuracy, a straightening machine should be used after molding. The aluminum profiles just extruded should be corrected to the required tolerance range.

The aluminum profiles produced by extrusion are low-hardness before aging and cannot be used as finished products. Therefore, generally speaking, they must be aged to improve their strength.
Setting and controlling aging furnace temperature: There is usually a certain error between the aging furnace temperature and the aging furnace surface temperature. When setting the surface temperature, it should be set according to the actual temperature of the furnace, and pay close attention to the fluctuation of the aging furnace temperature.
Aging insulation: Aging should be carried out strictly by the process requirements, and the insulation time should be appropriate to prevent insufficient hardness due to under-aging or over-aging.

The extruded aluminum profile is cut to size by cutting equipment and cooled quickly by water or air to solidify its structure.

Surface treatment
The aluminum profile is surface treated according to needs, such as anodizing, electrophoretic coating, etc., to improve its corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

Inspection and quality control
The produced aluminum profiles are strictly inspected and quality-controlled to ensure compliance with relevant standards and requirements.

Packaging and delivery
To prevent the surface of the aluminum profile from being scratched or worn, it is necessary to apply film, wrap with pearl cotton or wrap with a layer of kraft paper during the packaging process.
